Biographical note أحمد علي الزين إعلاميّ لبناني (مواليد 1955)، اشتهر منذ عام 2002 بإطلالاته الأسبوعية في برنامجه «روافد» على قناة العربية. له مسيرة طويلة بدأها بالكتابة الصحافية المحلّية والعربية، واستكملها بتلك الإذاعية والتلفزيونية، إذ كتب وأخرج لإذاعة «صوت الشعب» اللبنانية مئات الحلقات في الثقافة والدراما الإذاعية، وحقّق للتلفزيون عشرات الوثائقيات منها رباعية «محو التاريخ» و«التراجيديا واللغة». هذه روايته الأولى عن دار نوفل والثامنة في مسيرته الروائية.-Shams, an elderly artist, lost the hand he uses for drawing in the explosion that targeted the convoy of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005, leading to his assassination.
