Description هو رجل عاديّ، يعيش حياة عاديّة، في بناية لم تعد عاديّة مُذ احتلّها العسكر وحوّلوها موقعًا أمنيًّا، كما حوّلوا حياته مشاهدَ متتابعةً من مسرحيّة تنتمي إلى الكوميديا السوداء.في مواجهة التدمير المنهجيّ الذي أثاره وجود هؤلاء في حياته، يستدعي البطل مخزونه من حكايات الجدّات، ينسج تفاصيلها مع الواقع القاسي لعلّها تلطّفه حين يتداخل العالمان. حياة متشظيّة مسكونة بالعسكر والقذائف والهواجس الأمنيّة والحروب، وبالموروث الشعبيّ المنقسم على نفسه عشائريًّا وطائفيًّا.كالعادة، يحملنا عرفة بأسلوبه الشائق إلى عوالمه السحريّة المتفلّتة. بقدرة مذهلة في بساطتها، يخلق الغرائبيّ في الصورة والحدث، يمزج التراجيديّ بالهزليّ، ويلوّن الواقع القمعيّ بعنفه ودمويّته بمسحة ساخرة وخارقة تتحدّى عبثيّته. Biographical note كاتب وباحث سوريّ (مواليد العام 1955) مقيم في ألمانيا. حائز إجازة في الآداب، قسم اللغة الفرنسيّة من جامعة دمشق، ودكتوراه في العلوم الإنسانيّة، قسم المكتبات، من جامعة ماري كوري (لوبلين، بولندا). بالإضافة إلى روايته «وصايا الغبار» (2011)، صدرت له «الغرانيق» (2017) عن دار نوفل، كما له مجموعة من المؤلَّفات من ضمنها: «سحر الكتاب وفتنة الصورة» و«تراجيديا الثقافة العربيّة».-He is an ordinary man, living an ordinary life in a building that is no longer ordinary since it was occupied by the military and transformed into a security site. They turned his life into a series of consecutive scenes from a dark comedy. Confronted with the systematic destruction caused by their presence in his life, the protagonist evokes his stockpile of grandmother tales, weaving their details into the harsh reality in hopes of softening it when the two worlds intertwine. It is a fragmented life haunted by the military, missiles, security obsessions, and wars, as well as a folk heritage divided into clans and sects. As usual, Arefa, with his captivating style, transports us to his whimsical and elusive worlds. With remarkable simplicity, the fantastical is created in imagery and action, tragedy is blended with comedy, and the oppressive and violent reality is colored with a touch of satire and supernatural, defying its absurdity.
