Description ليس أحبّ إلى قلوب القرّاء عامةً من مسيرة الأدباء والعظماء. وليس أحبّ إلى قلب القارىء العربيّ، خصوصًا من مسيرة كتّابه المشهورين، وأدبائه النابهين، وأعلام تاريخه البارزين. وأكثر ما تكون السيرة جذّابة خالدة، حين تروي حياةَ عظيمٍ من العظماء، وحين يسجّلها صاحبُها نفسه بقلمه، وحين يكون هذا القلم قلمَ كاتبٍ فنّانٍ، ومفكّرٍ فلسفيٍّ رائد، يختصر في تجاربه تاريخَ عَصرٍ، ومعاناةَ أمّةٍ، واتّجاهَ حضارةٍ، ويختصر في أسلوبه أروع أشكال البثّ ومناهج التعبير. و'سبعون' ميخائيل نعيمه، في أجزائها الثلاثة، هي ما يطمح إلى مطالعته كلّ قارئ، فهي سجلٌّ حافلٌ لحياةِ صاحبها المديدة، وتجاربه الإنسانيّة والكونيّة، فضلًا عن أنّها بريشته ذات البهاء، والإبداع، والاقتدار الفنّيّ المتميّز. إنّه كتابُ كتبِ نعيمه، وكتابٌ من كتبِ السيرة الرائعة في الخزانة العربيّة. Biographical note وُلدَ المفكّر والقاصّ والشاعر ميخائيل نعيمه في بسكنتا عند سفح صنين عام 1889. تابع دراسته في فلسطين ثمّ في أوكرانيا الروسية، قبل أن يستقرّ في الولايات المتحدة حيث نال شهادة في الآداب وأخرى في الحقوق وأسّس مع بعض مجايليه من أدباء المهجر «الرابطة القلمية». عام 1932، عاد إلى بسكنتا حيث قضى وقته في الكتابة ولقِّب بـ «ناسك الشّخروب» لما اتّسم به نتاجه الأدبي من نزعة تصوّفية ورؤية فلسفية. توفّي عام 1988 عن 99 عامًا بعد أن أثرى المكتبة العربية بعشرات الكتب في مختلف المجالات الأدبية والفلسفية والشعرية.-Nothing is dearer to the hearts of readers in general than the journey of writers and great personalities of literature.
