The CDs include a recording of the scripts in the textbook to help students read the texts correctly. The first and second CDs contain the audio resources of the textbook. Each CD is 50 minutes long. The third CD contains the audio resources of the workbook; it is 38 minutes long. Ya Hala! is a book series to teach Arabic to non-native speakers. It aims to achieve basic communication efficiency, written and aural comprehension, and verbal and written expression. It begins with the conditions of daily life and uses activities and workshops that focus on four cores: communicative skills, linguistic efficiency, cultural appearances, and expression efficiency. Each part of the Ya Hala! series consists of the textbook, workbook, teacher’s guide, and audible media. Each part has 8 educational units with 3 lessons and 1 evaluation in each.
