Description بطل الحكاية، ولد صغير اسمه شادي، يعيش في مزرعة قرب نهر، ويحلم بالسفر كما تسافر سمكات النهر. فهل يتحقق حلمه؟ Biographical note املي نصرالله (1931-2018) – أديبة لبنانية رائدة، عملت في الصحافة، ثمّ غلب عليها الأدب فانصرفت إلى كتابة الرواية والقصّة والسيرة وأدب الفتيان والأطفال. تُرجِم الكثير من كتبها إلى الإنكليزية والألمانية والدانمركية والفنلندية والتايلندية. حصلت على جوائز عديدة منها جائزة الشّاعر سعيد عقل في لبنان وجائزة مجلّة فيروز، وجائزة جبران خليل جبران من رابطة التراث العربيّ في أستراليا، كما نالت عام 2018 وسام الأرز اللبناني عن رتبة كومندور تقديرًا لعطاءاتها الأدبية.-When Shadi sat on the beach to rest after swimming, he saw a white boat floating on the surface of the water. He saw a group of men on the boat, their dark bodies shining in the sunlight. They invited him to join them on a fishing trip in the middle of the big sea. For the first time, he discovered life on the deck of a boat: the chants, throwing the net into the water, and catching fish. When he woke up from the dream, he found himself leaning against the trunk of the willow tree. It was a beautiful dream that he would tell his siblings when he returned home.
