Description حين وضع جبران مسعود «الرائد»، نَهَلَ من القديم الأَصالة التي لا تخبو حيويّتها مهما تغيَّر الزمن. واختار من الجديد كلَّ ما يجعل هذا القاموس مواكباً لتطوُّر آداب اللغة العربيَّة وعلومها. واليوم ما زالت الحاجة قائمة إلى وجوده بين أيدي طلّاب العربيّة ودارسيها من مختلف المشارب، ومدارسها ومعاهدها في أنحاء العالم العربيّ. ذلك على الرغم من التطوّرات، ومن هيمنة الوسائل التكنولوجيّة؛ فالقاموس قيمة لا تتأثّر بخفوت طاقةٍ وزوال إرسال. وإدراكاً منّا لأَهمِّيَّة هذا المفهوم الذي اتَّخذه الأُستاذ جبران مسعود على مدى سنوات، جئنا بهذه الطبعة المُنقَّحة بإشرافه، لنقدِّم «رائد الطلَّاب» بميزاته القديمة التي جعلته رائداً، وبحلَّة جديدة؛ فقد أَبقينا على الترتيب الأَبجديِّ للكلمات وفق حروفها الأُولى، والَّذي يُعَدُّ الرَّائد أَوَّل معتمديه. كما حافظنا على الكثير من الشروحات المُتعارف عليها في المعاجم التقليديَّة الموثوقة. لكنّنا أضفنا شُروحات وأَمثلة ومداخلَ حديثة مسايرة للعصر، وأضفنا لوحات موسوعيَّة تربويَّة، غنيَّة بأَلوانٍ وصورٍ معاصرة تتناول مواضيع مختلفة عن الفنِّ والثقافة والعلوم وغيرها. من ناحية ثانية، زوّدنا المعجم بفصل لغويّ نحويّ يعين السائل في قضايا كثيرة. نفخر بإعادة وضع هذا الكتاب الموسوعي مجدّداً بين أيدي محتاجيه، ونشعر بثقة أنّه مواكِبٌ دائم لهذه اللغة: حضوراً وتطوّراً وجمالا.-When Gibran Masoud compiled ""Al-Raed"" dictionary, he drew from the ancient roots that never lose their vitality no matter how times change. He selected from the new everything that would make this dictionary in line with the development of Arabic language and its sciences. Today, Arabic language students and scholars from various backgrounds, as well as schools and institutions throughout the Arab world are still in need of the Arabic dictionary despite developments and technology means. The dictionary is a value that is not affected by low energy nor network coverage. Realizing the importance of this concept that Professor Gibran Masoud has adopted over the years, we present this revised edition under his supervision offering ""Raed Al-Tollab"" with its old features that made it a pioneer yet in a new form. We have maintained words’ alphabetical order according to their initial letters, a method that “Raed” was the first to adopt. We have also maintained many explanations considered familiar in traditional and reliable dictionaries. However, we have added modern explanations, examples, and entries that keep pace with the times. We have also added educational encyclopedia pictures rich in contemporary colors and images, and address various topics about art, culture, sciences, and others. Moreover, we have provided the dictionary with a grammatical chapter that helps the reader in many issues. We are proud to reintroduce this encyclopedia book to those in need, and we feel confident that it is always keeping pace with this language in terms of presence, development, and beauty. It includes 1250 colored images, 16000 entries, and 20 encyclopedia pictures, as well as grammar and analysis. “Raed Al-Tollab” is an accredited school dictionary.
